애플, 개발자 대상으로 OS X 10.8.3 다섯 번째 베타 버전 배포 - Build 12D50

OS X 마운틴 라이언 10.8.3의 다섯번째 베타 버전이 오늘자로 배포되고 있습니다.
네 번째 베타 버전이 나온지 2주만에 모습을 드러낸 12D50버전은 기존 버전과 마찬가지로 에어플레이(AirPlay) 기능과 무선 네트워크 기능, 그래픽 드라이버, 게임센터, 그리고 사파리를 집중적으로 테스트 해볼 것을 개발자들에게 요청하고 있습니다. 그외 별도로 알려진 버그는 없는 상태입니다.
또한 12D38 빌드부터 도입된 'OS X Software Update Seed Configuration Utility' 덕분에 OS X 새 베타 빌드가 나왔을 때 OS X 마운틴 라이언의 알림(Notification)으로 새 베타 버전 공개 유무를 빠르게 받아볼 수 있고, 운영체제 업데이트를 맥 앱스토어에서 바로 진행할 수 있게된 점이 최근 베타 버전의 특징입니다. 현재 새로 도입된 알림 기능과 이메일 알림이 병립하고 있는데 머지 않아 새로운 알림 체계로 단일화 될 것으로 예상되고 있습니다.
한편 OS X 10.8.2 버전도 총 다섯 번의 베타 테스트를 거친 후 지난 9월에 대중에 공개되었습니다. 시스템 전반에 걸친 페이스북 연동, 2010 맥북에어의 파워냅 가능 지원, OS X 메세지 어플과 페이스타임어플에 아이폰 전화번호 등록 가능, 사파리 및 메일 어플에 패스북 기능 추가, 사진 스트림 공유 기능 지원, 한국어 받아쓰기 기능 추가 등 상당히 많이 기능이 추가되었는데, OS X 10.8.3 버전은 새 기능 추가 없이 버그 수정 위주로 개발이 진행되었습니다.

OS X Mountain Lion Update 10.8.3 is an update to OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.
Installation Instructions
Please be aware that you will not be able to revert back to your previous system after updating. Please install this update on a system you are prepared to erase if necessary.
- If you have already installed the “OS X Software Update Seed Configuration Utility”, choose “Software Update” from the Apple menu. Otherwise, proceed with the following steps. - Log into your Apple Developer account and download the “OS X Software Update Seed Configuration Utility”. - After running the installer, the Mac App Store will open automatically. Click on the Updates panel and OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.3 build 12D50 will now be available for download. - When a newer seed build is available, you will receive a notification to update from the Mac App Store. Click the notification to begin the installation. New seed notes will be posted in the Mac Dev Center. - To stop receiving new seed builds, go to the Software Update Preference in System Preferences and where it says “Your computer is set to receive pre- release Software Update seeds”, press the “Change…” button.
Note: If you are using a computer which gets its updates from a local Software Update server, the OS X Software Update Seed Configuration Utility will reconfigure your machine to use Apple’s Software Update servers. Your computer must be able to connect to Apple’s Software Update servers to install the seed. We recommend that you remove any Configuration Profile that specifies a local Software Update server before installing the OS X Software Update Seed Configuration Utility.
